Why would I use Clipchamp as opposed to just editing a video in stream?

Streams base editor is a powerful tool, however there are limitations in terms of its ability to support full blown video projects. Let’s say you want to add multiple videos into one and cut from clip to clip. Clipchamp is the perfect tool for this. Do you want to cut an existing video more than 5 times? Stream would be unable to support that. Maybe you’d like to cut multiple clips together into social media snippets? Clipchamp can achieve this. 

Starting a project with Clipchamp:

To create a project in Clipchamp, either select “Video Project” from Streams homepage, or select the Clipchamp option from Stream's Video player. 

If you created a project by selecting Clipchamp from an existing video, that video will automatically be added to a new Clipchamp project. If you selected “Create New”>”Video Project” from the Stream homepage, Clipchamp will open up to an empty project file (as seen below).'

To add media to your project, select the import media button at the top left. You may choose files from within your OneDrive, or you can upload files from your device. 

Now that you’ve added clips into your project, you may freely drag items onto the timeline and begin editing.
