Changing a RingCentral account security question
As part of Ring Central's ongoing efforts to enhance account security, they are decommissioning their current security questions after June 27, 2025. A carefully curated set of stronger security questions will be available from June 27 onwards.
Please select a new security question from the refreshed list between June 27, 2025 to October 10, 2025. Security questions are required to verify your identity over the phone with RingCentral Support. After October 10, 2025, you will no longer be able to verify your identity using your previous security question as it will be phased out of Ring Central system.
Key dates:
- June 27, 2025: Updated security questions available, old security questions decommissioned.
- October 10, 2025: Old security questions no longer valid for verification.
We strongly encourage you to update your security question well before the deadline to ensure you can easily validate your identity with RingCentral Support using this method. If you have any issues or need assistance, please reach out to the Technology Services.
